Consortium for Refugees and Migrants in South Africa (CoRMSA)

The Consortium for Refugees and Migrants in South Africa (CoRMSA), is a registered non-profit organisation tasked with promoting and protecting refugee and migrant rights. It is comprised of member organisations including legal practitioners, research units, and refugee and migrant communities. Their mission is the promotion and protection of the rights of asylum seekers, refugees and other international migrants in ways that support the well-being of all in South Africa and the region.

CoRMSA has over fifteen years of experience working on migration engaging in advocacy and lobbying; coordination and network building; capacity building; rights awareness and information sharing. It works to strengthen partnerships and improve co-ordination of activities through developing relationships with other concerned organisations to provide an effective forum for advocacy and action. CoRMSA is represented in the forum by Thifulufheli Sinthumule, National Programme Coordinator.
